Today I went and got my first round of the RSV vaccination. My doctor says that I should have them even though I was not technically born premature. He says that since I had/have lung problems that I need to get them. I gotta tell ya - OUCH! I had to get 2 shots, one in each leg, because weight determines the dose and apparently I weight enough to warrant 2 shots! I cried. Daddy got to go with mommy and I. This was the first time he has seen me get shots...it made him almost as sad as I was! At least I had my blanky and thank goodness daddy has insurance!
